Apache 2.x and Friendly URL's

I am using Apache's method of script mapping to hid the ODB script and path via www.mydomain.com/vacations.html?pid=123. I've mapped so that apache will let ODBScript run anything .html via ODBIC.exe.

The real attempt is to turn this into a more friendly URL that pulls the title of the article or whatever as the new URL like www.mydomain.com/the-best-rental-property.html
